Monday Morning Motivation - Moving Toward Mastery

Dear Friend, 

I trust this blog finds you well. 

Do you eagerly look forward to Monday morning with anticipation and excitement? 

Do you see every Monday as another opportunity to move closer to your goals?

Are you often tempted to let Monday go to waste, and just “get through it?” 

Or do you create momentum for an extraordinary week?

There's always tomorrow, right?

...until there isn't.

Have you ever tricked yourself into believing that you should dread 5 days out of every week, and that Monday is the absolute worst? 

When did that delusion begin? 

Did it start in Elementary School? 

Was Elementary School really some form or cruel and unusual punishment, or is that something you hypnotized yourself into believing? 

Isn’t it time to let that erroneous belief go? 

The majority of your life includes much more than just weekends and Summer vacations. 

Is it all supposed to be painless? 

I don't think so.

Is it all supposed to be purposeless? 

Definitely not. 

If Monday has no meaning, something is broken.

Fix it! 

Others can do it with you, but nobody can do it for you. 

Here is an excellent strategy...

Ask yourself these questions when you wake up in the morning. 

• 1. What am I most grateful for?

• 2. Who do I love and who loves me?

• 3. What am I most excited about?

• 4. What is most important to me, right now?

• 5. What do I want to accomplish today?

It is a great practice to ask yourself these questions throughout the day, as well.
